Luis Suarez will face a hard suspension with ten games by biting Ivanovic

Luis Suarez lost his head in the last Premier League match between Liverpool and Chelsea. The Uruguayan striker couldn´t think of a better idea than to bite Branislav Ivanovic´s arm, which was defending the ‘blues’ in the second half.

At this match, the striker showed his best and his worst side. Author of the equalizer goal at min 96th but this terrible action clouded his great performance.

His behavior has not got rid of punishment in England. After the sanction imposed by his club, the English Football Association has confirmed the penalty of ten games for the South American player, which is effective immediately, for violent behavior. A knock-out punch to the player, who will miss the remainder of the season and the beginning of the next.

The FA considered insufficient term of a three match ban and finally has been suspended for ten games. “Luis Suarez has been suspended for ten games after a commission has ruled in the case of violent behavior,” said the FA through a statement.

After the three initial matches for the suspension, has been added seven more, something that was not in the plans of the player. Luis Suarez has already been sanctioned in Liverpool for eight games due to racist abuse against Evra and while he played in Ajax, had to endure seven football games away from biting another partner. Suarez has a long history of errors.

It´s a real shame we won’t be able to enjoy seeing one of the best strikers in the world. Unfortunately his behavior doesn’t goes with his quality and football abilities.
