Suarez renewed his Liverpool contract today but this still didn’t silent all the rumors about a potential move to Juventus. Luis Suarez was in the headlines this summer as his future looked very uncertain especially since it has been reported that Italian giants Juventus are interested in him. After signing the contract Suarez said that signing this new contract with Liverpool is incredible for him as he is happy to play for Liverpool and live in Liverpool. Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, also stated his happiness as he considers Suarez to be one of the best players on the planet.

Luis Suarez started his Liverpool career very well thanks to his performances and goals. Unfortunately his first full season at Liverpool wasn’t a positive one as he was found guilty of saying racist comments to Patrice Evra which led to a lengthy suspension. This suspension also led to a big loss in points for Liverpool with many critics saying that he also cost legend Kenny Daglish his job.
