The contract, which will take Ryan Giggs past his 40th birthday, has been settled after a terrific series of performances from the old hand and will stop conjecture that he would retreat at the end of the time of year.
The veteran midfielder is already the most bejeweled player in British football history and will be endearing his 13th league championship if Manchester United presses home to their twelve point advantage over their city rivals (ManchesterCity) in the Barclays Premier League. Ryan’s next emergence will be his 1,000th senior appearance, which includes appearances for Wales and Team GB at the London Olympics.
Sir Alex Ferguson said: “What can I say about Ryan that hasn’t already been said?” Ryan Giggs is an amazing player and a special human being. Ryan has always been an example to them.

Ryan Giggs expressed his delight on signing a new contract and thanked Sir Alex Ferguson and all the coaching staffs along with David Gill, who had been tremendous support for him over many years.
