Napoli-Cagliari has been an exciting match till the end, due to the numerous goals and situations. The match started in a difficult way for Napoli, that tried to be aggressive, without gaining a result. Cavani failed in 3 occasions, increasing the tension for Mazzarri’s team. This one, in fact, is the decisive match to increase the advantage on AC Milan, that this evening will play against Juventus.
The first half finished in a negative way for Napoli: at 18′ Ibarbo scored a perfect goal, that completely confused the goalkeeper Rosati. After this fact, Napoli appeared more tense, as visible through the yellow card gained by Cavani, due to protests. Cagliari, at the end of the first time, made the first substitution: Rossettini, injured, left his place to Ariaudo.
The second half saw the immediate draw of Hamsik, and after 10 minutes by the advantage gained by Cavani. Napoli thought to have won the match, but at 28′ of the second half, Cagliari scored its second goal, thanks to Sau. At this point, the match has been characterize by a nervous Napoli and by Cagliari that remained for the whole remaining part in defense.
The turning point, and the lucky event for Napoli, arrives at 49′ of the second half, when Insigne, entered to substitute Dzemaili, scored the third goal for Mazzarri’s team. Cagliari remained with no time to try to gain the draw.
