Salomon Kalou ChelseaAs in various other occasions AC Milan are monitoring the situation of a player that will soon be a free agent. We’re writing about Chelsea striker, Salomon Kalou, as he still didn’t reach an agreement with Chelsea and his contract expires on the 30th June. His contractual situation makes him a very interesting objective for AC Milan although the Italian giants will have to face stiff competition from English side Tottenham Hotspurs. According to the latest rumors it seems that Kalou would prefer to stay in England.

Kalou kick started his professional career in his native country at ASEC Mimosas before moving on to Dutch giants Feyenoord. He spent three years contracted to Feyenoord with six months of those on loan to Dutch side Excelsior. During his three year stay at Feyenoord he played 67 games and scored 35 goals. His superb form led to a lot of transfer speculation with it materializing in a transfer move to Chelsea. Since 2006 he played 152 games for Chelsea and scored 36 goals. Kalou is an Ivory Coast international since 2007. He played 46 games and scored 16 goals for Ivory Coast.
