Gerard Deulofeu has joined everton on a season-long loan dealEverton have pulled-off something of a coup by signing Barcelona youngster Gerard Deulofeu on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old attacker is regarded as one of the hottest young stars in European football.

Norwich have completed the double swoop of keeper Carlo Nash and Sweden international Martin Olsson. Nash was a free agent after being released by Stoke City this summer. The 39-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Canaries.

Olsson arrives from Championship side Blackburn for an undisclosed fee. The full-back/winger has signed a four-year deal with the club from Norfolk.

Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace have added winger Jerome Thomas to their squad on a two-year contract. The former-Arsenal ace was a free agent after leaving West Brom earlier this summer.

Sunderland have completed the signing of midfielder El Hadji Ba from Le Havre for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old French under-20 international has signed a three-year deal with the Black Cats and has already joined up with his new club in pre-season training in Italy.

The club from the north east are also being linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini. The Italian ace has a minimum fee release clause of £8.6million in his contract and reports emanating from Italy suggest the Black Cats could make a move in the near future.

Liverpool’s young attacking midfielder Suso looks set to join newly promoted La Liga outfit Almeria on a season-long loan deal. The youngster is highly regarded at Anfield, but his appearances for the first team could be restricted by the arrival of Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas.

Southampton are believed to be close to signing Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama for a fee in the region of £12.5million. The transfer has turned into a long-running saga, but the move is expected to be completed in the next 48 hours.
