The Premier League’s bottom club QPR have completed the £12.5million signing of centre-back Christopher Samba from Russian outfit Anzhi. English fans will know Samba from his stint at Blackburn.

Norwich have completed the signing of striker Luciano Becchio from Leeds in exchange for Steve Morison. The Argentinian striker has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Carrow Road. Becchio joins former-teammates Robert Snodgrass and Jonny Howson in Norfolk.

Fulham have completed the loan signing of two international players. The Cottagers have brought in versatile Dutch international Urby Emanuelson from AC Milan and Bulgarian international defender Stanislav Manolev has been brought in from Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven.

Aston Villa have strengthened their squad with the signing of French midfielder Yacouba Sylla from Clermont Foot for a fee in the region of £2million. The 22 year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Villa Park.

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has joined Bundesliga side Hoffenheim on a season-long loan deal in German. Gomes had fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane behind Hugo Lloris and Brad Friedel.
