After the victory yesterday evening against Inter Milan, Roma is qualified for the final match of Coppa Italia, that will be played at the end of May. Roma-Lazio, an important challenge between the two teams, that want to win the cup to conclude a not perfect season.

However, Inter Milan-Roma started in a positive way for Stramaccioni’s team, that after 20 minutes gained the advantage thanks to Jonathan, that scored his first goal during this season. At this point Roma seemed confused and risked to let Inter Milan scored another goal, but Rocchi’s attempt has been saved by Stekelenburg. After the 30′ of the first half, Roma started playing in a positive way, making Handanovic save two attempts: the first by Florenzi and the second by Mattia Destro.

The second half started with Florenzi substituted by Balzaretti, that changed the midfield of Roma. As predicted by the coach Andreazzoli before the match, the decisive element has been Mattia Destro, author of a double in  less than 15 minutes. During the last minutes of the match, Torosidis and Alvarez have scored other two goals, but the result has been already determined.

2-3 the result of this match, that permits Roma to play against Lazio on 26th May. Inter Milan showed another time its difficulties and its limited possibilities during this season. Now, the future of Stramaccioni is precarious, but everything has to be decided by the president Moratti.
