Serie A — 16 April 2013

The league table defined after the conclusion of the 32^ round of Serie A sees Roma, Lazio and Inter Milan in a good position, but far away from the qualification in Champions League. Totti & Lamela

Lazio has lost its hopes yesterday, defeated 0-2 by Juventus. Now Lazio has the opportunity to play the final of Coppa Italia, but his participation in Champions League is excluded. In fact Lazio has currently 7 points less AC Milan, that occupies the third position. Also Roma has 7 points less AC Milan, and even if Totti and his team are performing in a good way in this last period, it will be difficult gain the qualification in Champions League.

Considering these facts, AC Milan, Napoli and Fiorentina are the only three teams that are fighting to be directly admitted to the 2013-2014 Champions League, except for Juventus that will play for sure in Europe next year. Napoli has some points more the others two, but nothing has been defined yet. The turning point could have been the match AC Milan-Napoli, but a draw does not change the situation. Differently, Fiorentina is always diminishing the distance from AC Milan, especially after the last victory against Atalanta.

Inter Milan, that at the beginning of the season, was considered a possible team qualified for Champions League, has now 50 points and also the participation in Europe League results difficult, considered its last results.
