Steven FletcherAccording to British news tabloid, People, Real Madrid are interested in Wolves and Scotland striker Steven Fletcher. People stated that Real Madrid are keeping an eye on Fletcher and that they may make an offer to Wolves anytime. To be honest this news hasn’t been confirmed by anyone yet.

Sometime ago Fletcher was really on Real Madrid’s radar thanks to his great performances for Scotland’s youth team and Scottish club Hibernian. At Hibernian he played 156 matches and scored 43 goals. In 2009 he made the switch to the English Premier League thanks to a move to Burnley. He had a good season a Burnley but unfortunately Burnley got relegated. Since he wanted to keep on playing Premier league football he moved to Wolves in the summer of 2010 for a fee of 6.5 million sterling.

Fletcher played 8 times for Scotland and scored a goal. Fletcher refused a call-up to the Scotland squad in February 2011 and since then has never played another match for Scotland. In November 2011, Wolves manager Mick McCarthy stated that Fletcher is eager to play for Scotland and that he looks forward to the situation being resolved.
