Anton FerdinandAnton Ferdinand will be returning to Turkey, this time to play for Antalyaspor. Last season he spent the second part of the season on loan at another Turkish side, Bursaspor. This move happens after Ferdinand was released from his contract with QPR as the London based side had to cut costs following their relegation to The Championship. It is reported that Anton Ferdinand signed a three year contract with Antalyaspor.

Anton Ferdinand is a product of the famous West Ham youth academy. At the early stages of his career he was looked very promising and was being expected to become a great player as his brother. Unfortunately his career went the opposite way, as the years passed he disappointed more and more. Ferdinand stayed at West Ham till 2008. In 2008 he moved to Sunderland were he spent three seasons before moving to ambitious QPR in 2011. Anton Ferdinand represented England at various youth levels such as U18, U20 and U21. He never managed to make it to the England senior squad. What’s interesting to note is that Ferdinand is also eligible to represent Republic of Ireland.
