Luis Gustavo’s future is still uncertain, the only certainty seems that he’ll be leaving Bayern Munich. Gustavo recently stated that his situation is a delicate one at Bayern Munich and that he shoud resolve it shortly. He also added that he has both personal and professional reasons to leave Bayern Munich.
When interviewed by The Guardian he said “I have a contract with Bayern Munich until 2015 but I need to have an important role to be called for the World Cup next year. Arsenal’s interest? It is a big club, it’s obvious that I would like to play there. They play great football and they are participating in the Champions League, their coach Wenger is very clever and it was clear that Bayern had to suffer a lot to beat them in the Champions League. No one can play in the Brazil national team thanks to his past successes. I need to play a lot to show my state of form, especially now before the World Cup since Brazil will only be playing friendly matches.I spoke to Guardiola a couple of times but he never spoke clearly about my situation.”
