Chelsea starlet, Romelu Lukaku, joins WBA on a season long deal to get more playing time. The Belgian striker joined Chelsea last summer as a big summer signing but didn’t get much playing time at the London based side. He was expected to get more playing time this season since Didier Drogba left the club but the various attacking signings the club made this summer might have convinced him to move on for more playing time.
Romelu Lukaku is still very young at 19 years of age. His professional career started at Belgian giants, Anderlecht, where he debuted at the young age of 15. He played more than 70 matches for Anderlecht and scored more than 30 goals. He has also represented Belgium at various levels. He represented Belgium at senior level 14 times and managed to find the back of the net 2 times. It will be very interesting to know how he’ll perform at WBA.
