In recent weeks Serbia International, Aleksandar Kolarov, has been attracting interest by Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan. That together with lack of playing time fuelled speculation about his stay at Manchester City. The British Press interviewed Kolarov to get a better idea of the situation. The Manchester City player said that he never put in a transfer request and never complained about the lack of playing time. He also added that Manchester City still have to play many games therefore he will definitely get some playing time. Finally he said that he is not worried and that he will definitely be staying at Manchester City even when he was asked about AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Aleksandar Kolarov joined Manchester City in the summer of 2010 for a fee of £16 million. He was signed to be City’s first choice at left back but since then the Eastlands side also signed Gael Clichy from rivals Arsenal. Since Clichy joined he became the preferred choice at left back.
