There are high possibilities that Fredy Guarin will be the player that Mazzarri has decided to sacrifice to reinforce Inter Milan. Moratti indeed needs money to get some of the players asked by the new coach, and a common decision regards Guarin’s future: the Colombian midfielder has to be sold.
Mazzarri, despite the good performances of Guarin during last season, does not consider him important. His transfer could bring Inter Milan around 20 million euros, an amount that could be reinvested in getting at least two players. Tottenham was interested in him, but the English club has recently acquired Paulinho. The other alternative is Monaco, where Guarin has good relationships with some players, such as Rodriguez and Falcao. Also PSG is interested in the player, and during next week it is probable an offering from him.
Inter Milan as substitute is analyzing the option Radja Nainggolan, that results too expensive, and Geoffrey Kondogbia, Sevilla midfielder. Nainggolan is a difficult objective, because to get him, Inter Milan has to overpass Roma and AC Milan. Furthermore, the president of Cagliari is not sure of transferring one of his best players. Kondogbia is a complex negotiation as well, because the midfielder is appreciated by numerous clubs. The positive aspect related to this one is the excellent relationship between Inter Milan and his attorney, element that could simplify the situation.
