AC Milan-Torino finished 1-0, thanks to the goal scored by Mario Balotelli at 40′ minute of the second half. A goal that saves AC Milan, that played in a negative way for the majority of the match. During the first half, Torino had several occasions to gain the advantage: Barreto failed a perfect opportunity, while Abbiati saved his team in more than one situation.
The second half has been characterized by general absence of desire to win the match. Torino knew that other matches were finishing in a positive way for his position in the league table, while AC Milan was not able to organize himself. The absence of Riccardo Montolivo creates numerous problems in the development of the actions for AC Milan.
20 minutes before the end of the match, Allegri decided to give a more aggressive organization to his team inserting Pazzini, Niang and Robinho and removing a terrible Boateng and a tired El Shaarawy. The situation improved, because AC Milan started having concrete possibilities to gain the advantage.
The excellent action of the couple of strikers Pazzini-Balotelli permitted an important victory to AC Milan, that has now 4 points more Fiorentina. The participation to the preliminary phase of Champions League is always more sure for Allegri’s team despite the bad game and the absence of concentration visible today.
