Luca MarroneAC Milan have made a surprise move for Juventus player Luca Marrone. They presented an offer of 10 million euros to Juventus that would be paid over a three year period. Juventus rejected the offer and stated that Marrone is not for sale. It is well known that Antonio Conte has a lot of faith in Marrone. It has been reported that the rossoneri are interested in signing Marrone to field him as a defender. Marrone’s natural role is that of a central midfielder but this season Juventus coach Antonio Conte tried him as a defender and the boy excelled in that position. Yestday in the first league match Marrone played as a defender together with Barzagli and Bonucci.

Luca Marrone is a product of the Juventus academy. He joined the first team back in 2009 at only 19 years of age. In 2010 he was sent on loan for a full season to Siena were he played for then Siena coach Antonio Conte. Conte was so impressed with him that he decided to hold on to him when he joined Juventus in 2011. Marrone has also represented Italy at various junior levels such as U-17, U-19 and U-21. It seems that Marrone has a very bright future ahead of him.
