Everton have signed Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas from Greek side Olympiakos FC for a fee of around 7.5 million euros. Mirallas signed a four year contract with the Toffees. This is a great signing for Everton as Mirallas was attracting the interest of various important clubs, most notably Arsenal. Mirallas started his professional career in France at Lille where he played till 2008. Then he joined another Franch side in Saint Etienne where he played for 2 seasons. In 2010 he moved to Greek side Olympiakos FC where he rose to prominence thanks to his goal scoring exploits. Whilst at the Greek giants he played more than 50 games and scored more than 30 goals. Everton are hoping that Mirallas and Jelavic will form a lethal partnership that produces plenty of goals.
Kevin Antonio Mirallas is also a Belgium international as he represented his country at senior level 28 times and scored 5 times. He also represented Belgium at various junior levels starting from U16 and going all the way till U21.
