Shanghai Shenhua striker, Nicolas Anelka, took some time to talk about his former club PSG and former coach Carlo Ancelotti. Anelka said that PSG are still in his heart and he truly believes that they will win the French title. He also added that PSG have a great coach in Carlo Ancelotti for whom he has a lot of respect.
Nicolas Anelka developed as professional player within the PSG youth system before moving on to England to join London based side Arsenal. Later on in his career he played again for PSG, from 2000 to 2002 before moving back to England to first join Liverpool on a temporary basis and then Manchester City on a permanent basis. Nicolas Anelka played spent the majority of his football career in England as he also played for Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea. Anelka is considered by many as a controversial figure and a player that never fulfilled his full potential due to his early departure from Arsenal yet he still managed to play sixty nine international matches and fourteen goals for France. His international career started in 1998 and ended in 2010 following some fallout with French coach Raymond Domenech.
