Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has announced that Neil Warnock has been sacked as manager of the Londoners. Neil Warnock managed QPR for the last 22 months during which he helped them get promoted to the Premier League after a long absence of 15 years. QPR started life in the Premier League badly as they suffered a heavy loss against Bolton but then managed some positive results that allowed them to climb the table. Since then results have deteriorated as they didn’t manage to win a game in their last eight matches. Such form led them to lose positions within the Premier League table were they currently stand as 17th, just 1 point above the relegation zone.
Speculation is rife to who will succeed Neil Warnock as QPR manager with Mark Hughes being highly touted as the favourite by media and bookmakers.
