Udinese pair, Mauricio Isla and Kwadwo Asamoah, are set to join Juventus in the coming days. Isla and Asamoah are considered to be some of the best youngsters that play in Italy. Both players joined Udinese several years ago as youngsters but since then they have developed into great players. Their performances have helped Udinese finish fourth last year and third this season within the Italian Serie A. Both players seemed to be heading to other teams initially with Isla being close to join Inter Milan whilst Asamoah being close to join AC Milan. Thanks to transfer guru Beppe Marotta, Juventus managed to seal a deal for both players before the news was spread by the media. Isla was also being monitored by Barcelona before suffering an injury in a league match against AC Milan.
Juventus coach, Antonio Conte, backed the signings of both players as he considers them to be quality players but at the same time team players as they never stop running. Both players play international football as Isla represents Chile whilst Asamoah represents Ghana.
