The Norwegian player John Carew, ex West Ham, has arrived in Milan today because thanks to his released position he is able to sign a contract with Inter Milan. These are his first words from the Hotel Melia in Milan: “ I am ready to do my best to contribute to the success of this team. I didn’t expect this call, events like these are life’s surprises.”
Carew arrives to Inter Milan to substitute the injured Milito, that was hurt during the match of Europa League against the Romanian team Cluj. In fact, Inter does not have a striker that could take the place of the Argentinian player: Rocchi has not a perfect physical condition due to the long inactivity and the young Livaja has been sent in loan to Atalanta.
Inter needs his collaboration to reach at least the third position in Italy and to go forward in Europa League starting winning the double match against Tottenham.
According to Mr Stramaccioni, Carew is the perfect player for his module 4-2-3-1 where he may use his physical resistance, especially with long passages.
Currently it has been discussed only the economic aspect, the decision is going to be made in the following days depending on the results of the medical examinations. However Moratti is taking time because the president wants to evaluate the current condition of the player giving him a period of two weeks to show his ability, before becoming an effective member of his team.
