Aurelio De Laurentiis, during an interview about his Napoli, promises that Cavani will remain in Napoli, together with Mazzarri.
He declared that Mazzarri is unique and he does not want to change him for another coach. If Mazzarri is tired to be Napoli’s coach and wants to experiment new opportunities, he can leave, but it will be not a decision taken by the president.
He also added that Cavani will remain, because his escape clause is fixed at 70 million euros and there are not many Clubs able to pay a so high amount. Moreover, Cavani is linked to Napoli, and has always shown a great professionalism. Of course, he recognized that offerings by Real Madrid or Barcelona result attractive for a young player as Edinson.
De Laurentiis said that he would not interfere with the private life of the Uruguayan player, because he is a man, and not only a football player.
Also about Goran Pandev, at the center of polemics in the last period due to his vote for the FIFA best coach, the president said that he does not know the details of the situation, and that Pandev is a serious man. De Laurentiis considers strange that players like him could have said lies.
Now Napoli has to restart its attempts to reach Juventus, starting from the match against Torino, planned for next week. Neapolitans have to remain calm, because De Laurentiis wants to maintain a big team for the future, even if Cavani and Mazzarri leave.
