Edinson Cavani NapoliNapoli top scorer, Edinson Cavani, is not sure about his future. After his side’s win against Novara he stated that he does not know where he will play next season if Napoli don’t play Champions League football. He also added that the club will deal with the situation. In the meantime his sole focus is to play football and to give his best for Napoli until he’s part of the side. It is being rumored that Edinson Cavani wants to play Champions League football at all costs next season. Apart from that, it’s also being rumored that Cavani expects a significant raise to earn a yearly salary of 3 million euros. Napoli president, De Laurentiis, is not happy with Cavani’s demands especially since Cavani has a contract with Napoli that expires in 2017. De Laurentiis would only consider selling his target man for a fee of around 40 to 50 million euros. Various clubs are interested in the Uruguay international but Juventus are leading the race for him.

Edinson Roberto Cavani Gomez kick started his professional career in his homeland at Danubio. In 2007, at only 20 years of age, he moved to Italian side Palermo. At Palermo he spent three seasons were he scored more than 30 goals. In 2010 he moved to Napoli were he quickly became a fan favorite thanks to the number of goals he scored. Cavani represents Uruguay at international level for whom he played 37 matches and managed 11 goals.
