AC Milan has won the important match against Chievo Verona, that gives it the possibility to maintain the third place, 6 points more than Fiorentina, its direct enemy next round.

The match has been solved by Riccardo Montolivo, author of the goal arrived at 24′ of the first half, that played the whole match in a perfect way.

Despite the result, Chievo has played a good match, and has succeeded in creating difficulties for AC Milan, especially in the last part. Solid the game of Allegri’s team, that missed Pazzini due to his injury, Kevin Prince Boateng due to the temperature and Zapata, arrived later from Colombia for the last trainee session.

After the goal, Mr Allegri has asked his team sacrifice to gain this fundamental victory; El Shaarawy, as usual, has shown a great physical condition and abilities to support the team in every situation. The last part of the match has seen an aggressive Chievo, remained in 10, due to the expulsion at 33′ of the second half of Dainelli.

AC Milan is now waiting for Fiorentina next week to continue his attempts to qualify for 2013-2014 Champions League.
