After the defeat 4-0 in Camp Nou and the elimination from Champions League, AC Milan has a strong desire of redemption.In fact, Champions League must be forgotten to get the highest position possible in Serie A. There are still 10 matches before the end, the aim is the qualification for 2013-2014 Champions League, that means minimum the third place in the league table to be admitted to the preliminary phase in Europe.

The direct matches against Napoli and Fiorentina will be decisive for the outiline of  AC Milan’s position, however it is important to recover immediately to prevent the same errors of last year: the defeat in Barcelona caused a lack of motivation and a crisis that cost AC Milan the Scudetto.

Allegri well knows that this year everything must be different: Champions League has gone, but the Italian Championship is still open. It is not possible the repetition of the same mistakes: Palermo, on Sunday, must be defeated. Moreover, Allegri’s team hopes that Lazio will go on with its experience in Europe League and, due to the double appointment, that it will lose other points in Serie A.

Mario Balotelli should be the extra weapon for AC Milan. He will return available for the match against Palermo, together with Mattia De Sciglio, absent in Barcelona, due to a strategic decision made by Mr Allegri.
