Football has not a big quantity of money as in the past and clubs are starting policies to discover young and talentuous players. Udinese in Italy started this policy years ago and Lazio this year is going to build a new and young team.
Felipe Anderson, Vinicius and Perea are the first examples of this new tendency. All these three were born in 1993 and are the key elements of next season. Petkovic has decided to focus especially on Felipe Anderson, that is young but could play at the highest levels.
In these days, Petkovic is starting organizing his team, based on the experience of players like Klose and the motivation of the new arrivals. During these first sessions of training, other young players will have the possibility to show their talent: Strakosha, Cataldi, Crecco and Keita will play and be trained with the big players of the club, an experience that could permit them to participate to next Serie A as reserves.
Lazio has not finished here the improvements for next season: the managers, despite the money used till now, that should be around 21 million euros, are looking for a left back and for a striker, able to play with Klose or also to substitute him during the season. Also in this case, Lazio is interested in getting young players that will have the possibility to experience themselves being coached by Petkovic and playing with elder teammates.
