Premier League Transfer News — 30 July 2013

Luka ModricReal Madrid playmaker Luka Modric is being linked with a move to Manchester United, as the Red Devils look to have given up on signing Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Modric had been linked with United prior to his move to Real Madrid.

Real have a new boss in the shape of Carlo Ancelotti and it is unknown if the French boss rates the Croatian midfielder. United boss David Moyes is looking to strengthen the centre of his midfield and could now turn to Modric.

Tottenham star Gareth Bale is seeking talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy over the clubs refusal of an offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid. Levy is refusing to listen to offers for the Wales international.

Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace are set to complete the free transfer of former-Blackpool winger Elliot Grandin. The French ace left the Tangerines this summer after his contract expired.

West Ham are interested to sign Dnipro defender Samuel Inkoom, after the Ghana international star stated that he wanted to leave the Ukrainian club. The Hammers were also linked with Norwich winger Robert Snodgrass, but the Canaries have warned potential suitors off the Scotland international.

According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. Blues boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the Germany international after he managed Khedira at the Bernabeu. Mourinho is also believed to be looking at Roma stalwart Daniele de Rossi.

Out-of-favour Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is being linked with a move to La Liga club Malaga. Bendtner spent last season on-loan at Italian champions Juventus and looks to be moving on this summer.

Fellow Arsenal forward Gervinho is still being linked with a move to Italian football, with Serie A club Roma still interested in the Ivorian.
