Italian champions Juventus have now completed the signing of Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez from Manchester City for a fee in the region of £10million. The 29-year-old has signed a three-year-contract with the Bianconeri.
Another player that could leave City this summer, according to the Daily Star, is England full-back Micah Richards.
The British newspaper is linking the strong defender with a £14million move to European champions Bayern Munich.
The defender has also been linked with moves to Italian club Inter and Premier League Arsenal in the past few weeks.
Brazilian club Corinthians claim that Paulinho’s departure is ‘imminent’, with Tottenham believed to have agreed a £17million deal for the box-to-box midfielder. The 24-year-old has been impressive at the Confederations Cup, where Brazil has made it to the final.
Sunderland are on the verge of signing highly rated young Le Havre full-back Benjamin Mendy, after the Black Cats agreed a fee with the French club. The 18-year-old has also been monitored by fellow Premier League clubs Cardiff and Arsenal.
According to reports in the Daily Express, Everton manager Roberto Martinez is about to be reunited with former-players Antolin Alcaraz and Arouna Kone. Alcaraz is available on a free transfer and Kone has a release clause of around £6million in his Wigan contract.
Both players are expected to leave the DW Stadium this summer after the Latics were relegated to the Championship.
Merseyside rivals Liverpool could be selling young midfielder Jonjo Shelvey if this morning’s reports are anything to go by. Welsh club Swansea are interested in acquiring the youngsters signature, but may need to pay up to £5million for the former-Charlton starlet.
The Swans are also set for another raid on La Liga this summer. This time their top target is Espanyol defender Jordi Amat, who is likely to cost the club in the region of £2million.
