There is a jam-packed programme of Premier League action on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday Manchester United visit Wigan.

The Red Devils are currently leading the Premier League by seven points, after winning 2-0 against West Brom on Saturday.

The short trip to Wigan should be a comfortable one for United, but as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side found out last season the Latics can cause an upset on their home turf.

Roberto Martinez’s men defeated United 1-0 at the DW Stadium last season, a result which helped Manchester City claim the Premier League crown.

Meanwhile Manchester City face a difficult home game against Stoke. City desperately needs a victory just to stay in touch with their city rivals at the top of the Premier League table. Stoke arrive at the Etihad Stadium on a ten game unbeaten run and with the best defence in the top flight.

City striker Edin Dzeko scored a brace in five minutes against Norwich in City’s 4-3 victory over Norwich last time out and the Bosnian international will be hoping to get on the scoresheet again against the Potters.

Arsenal are in good form and visit the South Coast to face Southampton. The Gunners hammered Newcastle 7-3 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, with former-Saints star Theo Walcott scoring a hat-trick.

The England international is hoping to continue in a central striking role, after impressing in previous appearances up front this season. Southampton threw away a two goal lead at Stoke on Saturday to draw 3-3.

The draw meant that the Saints slipped into the relegation zone. However, striker Rickie Lambert always offers a threat in attack and the striker will be looking to add to his goal tally against the Gunners.
