Los Ches value the defender at £7.7million. The Spanish club will not let the French international leave for any less.

Celtic striker Gary Hooper is expected to complete a £5million move to QPR.

The prolific striker had also been linked with a move to Premier League Norwich. However, Championship Rangers now look close to acquiring the striker’s signature.

L’Equipe claims that Premier League newcomers Cardiff have agreed a fee of £8million for Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue. The highly-rated French star had previously been linked with a move to Everton.

Another French star that is believed to be interesting Premier League clubs is Lyon forward Jimmy Briand. The French international is interesting English top-flight clubs West Brom and Hull. The French star will be allowed to leave the Lyon this summer.

The Daily Mail reports that Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair will leave Eastlands this summer. West Brom and Everton are believed to be interested in signing the former-Swansea ace. Sinclair has failed to make his mark at City since moving to the club from Swansea last summer.

West Brom are also believed to be interested in reuniting Nicolas Anelka with former-Chelsea teammate Salomon Kalou. Kalou only moved to Lille last summer. However, he is now being linked with a move back to the Premier League.

According to the Sun, Arsenal are now favourites to sign QPR and Brazil keeper Julio Cesar. The Brazilian keeper came close to joining Italian club Napoli earlier this summer, but terms of his contract could not be agreed.

The Sun also reports that Gervinho has moved a step closer to completing a £7million move to Roma. The forward has been wildly inconsistent during his time with the Gunners and is expected to leave this summer.
