Lazio have announced on their official website that left-back Javier Garrido will stay at Norwich City on a permanent basis. This means that Norwich chose to exercise their option to sign Garrido on a permanent basis after securing their Premiership basis. Javier Garrido joined Norwich City last summer on a season long loan deal from Roma based side, Lazio. He was a regular for the Canaries and enjoyed a successful season both on a personal and club level.
Javier Garrido started his professional football career in his native Spain at Real Sociedad. At only 22 years of age he made the switch to English side Manchester City where he spent three seasons. In 2010 he joined Lazio where he stayed until last summer, when he was loaned to Norwich. Javier Garrido represented Spain at various youth levels but never represented his country at senior level.
