Manchester United are in the hunt for a quality midfielder. Last summer they were close in signing Inter Milan and Netherlands midfielder Wesley Sneijder. Lucky for them they didn’t manage to sign him as he had an injury plagued season up to now. This time they turned their attention to Lille and Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard. It seemed that Hazard was going to join Chelsea next summer but the Red Devils desperately want the Belgian midfielder, so desperate that they want to sign him in this transfer window. It has been reported that Man Utd made an offer of 30 million sterling to Lille for Hazard. Lille replied back asking for 35 million sterling, not a penny less. Now the ball is in Man Utd’s court.

Eden Hazard has always played professional football at club level at Lille. He is also a Belgian international. He played 25 games and scored a goal for Belgium.
