EderSampdoria have announced the signing of Brazilian striker Eder from Italian side AC Cesena. The blucerchiati were after Eder for quite some time. Finally they succeeded in signing him on loan for six months. Eder kick started his career in Brazil with Criciuma. In 2006 he moved to Italy to play for Empoli. Empoli sent him to Frosinone to get some playing time where he played well and scored many goals. After a successful season at Frosinone he returned to Empoli where he continued his scoring exploits. Last year he left Empoli to play in the Serie A for Brescia where he managed six goals. This season, after Brescia’s relegation, he joined AC Cesena to continue plying his trade in the Serie A. After a disappointing start to the season AC Cesena felt that it was best to let him go thus his move to Sampdoria.
