Yesterday, Adriano Galliani went to Monaco to discuss the future of Kevin Prince-Boateng and Stephan El Shaarawy. This situation remembers last year, when Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva left AC Milan thanks to a common agreement.
Monaco seems available to offer 15 million euros to get Boateng and at least 40 million euros to get El Shaarawy. Furthermore it’s rumored that Monaco has offered AC Milan 60 million euros to get both the players. The real objective indeed is El Shaarawy, while Boateng could represent a good option for Monaco, even if not fundamental.
On his side, AC Milan is not interested in transferring El Shaarawy, while the transfer of Boateng is the aim of this summer. Galliani has confirmed that El Shaarawy is unmarketable and that the meeting with the managers of Monaco regarded only the future of Kevin Prince-Boateng. This idea has been supported also by the declarations of El Shaarawy’s attorney, that has expressed the will of his player to remain in AC Milan and the absence of real offerings for him.
AC Milan supporters should remain calm due to these guarantees, but the memory of what happened last season with the double transfer Ibrahimovic-Thiago Silva is still a nightmare for them. None knows if Monaco really wants both El Shaarawy and Boateng, but there is the risk of this double departure.
