Erik Andre Huseklepp has returned to Norway after spending the last two years of his career abroad. He initially left Norway to sign for, then Italian Serie A side, A.S. Bari. A.S. Bari signed him for a fee of 1.75 million euros in January 2011. He spent six months in Italy during which he did impress thanks to some positive performances. The same thing couldn’t be said about A.S. Bari as they got relegated and therefore had to sell him for financial reasons. He was sold to Championship side, Portsmouth, for a fee of 1.5 million sterling. He became a fan favourite thanks to his performances but Portsmouth also faced financial trouble and therefore had to loan him to Birmingham City in January 2012. Once the loan period came to an end Portsmouth decided to offload the player cause of financial reasons.
There were various teams that were after his signature but Norwegian side Brann won the race thanks to various sponsorship deals that helped them raise the money. This move means that Huseklepp returned to the side that developed him as a player. Erik Andre Huseklepp is a Norwegian international, he played 29 games and scored 7 goals for Norway.
