Udinese continues its attempts to be admitted to Europe League, after the excellent performances in Verona and Parma. It will host Lazio, that after the first part of the season played in a good way, is now missing points. Probably the participation in Europe League has influenced its trend. Lazio currently has 51 points and Udinese 3 less. Udinese wants a victory against Petkovic’s team to try to intimidate Roma and Inter Milan.
Udinese will count on the return of Totò Di Natale and Benatia, absent in the previous match due to a disqualification. Absent Luis Muriel, one of the most important player in this part of Serie A, that gained a suspension after last match. Danilo, Domizzi and Benatia will be lined up as defenders, Allan and Badu in the midfield.
Petkovic has difficulties in deciding who to line up, especially in the defense, where Radu and Lulic will be absent. He will probably employ Biava, Ciani, Gonzalez and Stankevicius. In the midfield Onazi, Ledesma, Hernanes and Candreva will play almost for sure. In the attack Klose will return regular from the first minute; his aim is to score a goal, after the injury that has forced him to remain on the bench for a long period.
The match will be interesting, and it is decisive for the development of the league table, where 5 teams are playing to gain a place in Europe League.
