Swansea goalkeeper, Michel Vorm, has attracted a lot of interest thanks to his great performances with Swansea. John Van Zweden, one of the owners of Swansea, admitted that both Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in the Dutch international. They join Tottenham with their interest in Vorm, as Harry Redknapp is considering Vorm as a long term replacement for evergreen Brad Friedel. Van Zweden also admitted that Vorm’s departure would be a nightmare for Swansea.
Swansea City signed Vorm last summer for a fee of around 1.5 million sterling from Dutch side Utrecht. He has represented Netherlands nine times at senior level since 2008.
