The match just finished in Juventus Stadium permits Conte’s team to fly away; Juventus-Catania 1-0. The goal arrived during the injury time, an unexpected goal scored by Giaccherini.

The match has been balanced for 90 minutes. Catania played a defensive match, giving almost no opportunities to Juventus. Maran, Catania’s coach, has been expelled during the first half, due to protests. Juventus, for the whole first half, tried to surprise Catania, but the only result has been a goal post by Vucinic. The second half has been characterized by several attempts of both the teams, without goals, till Giaccherini’s action.

Chievo-Napoli finished 2-0. Chievo deserved the victory, gained thanks to Dramè and Thereau. Napoli seemed a confused and not well organized team, in particular defensers were not concentrated. Chievo, taking Thereauadvantage of this situation, scored both the two goals in the first half.  The second part of the match started with Napoli that besieged Chievo’s penalty area, without scoring. Cavani, at 13′, gained a penalty, due to Dainelli’s foul, but Puggioni, Chievo’s goalkeeper, saved the situation. It continued till the end Napoli’s negative performance, that gave Chievo the occasion to score a third goal, not realized by Pellissier.

Currently the Italian league table has Juventus at the first place, +9 over Napoli, immediately followed, just -2 points, by AC Milan. The league table could further change after Lazio-Fiorentina and Inter Milan-Bologna, planned for this evening.
