Dortmund and Real Madrid qualified for the Champions League semi-finals last night.

Dortmund recorded an incredible last-gasp 3-2 victory over Malaga at the Signal Iduna Park to progress into the last four of the competition.

The visitors took the lead on 25 minutes Isco teed-up winger Joaquin, who fired low past Roman Weidenfeller in the Dortmund goal.

The home side struggled to get going until a moment of sheer brilliance in the 40^th minute.

A good build-up lead to Marco Reus producing a sublime back-heel flick to put Robert Lewandowski in on-goal, and the Polish international chipped the ball over the out-rushing Willy Caballero in the visitors’ goal.

Malaga looked to have sealed progression with a second goal on 82 minutes. Isco put striker Julio Baptista through on-goal and the Brazilian goal bound shot was tapped-home from close-range by substitute Eliseu. The goal had more than a suspicion of offside about it.

Dortmund kept going and got their reward in the first minute of stoppage-time. Centre-back turned emergency centre-forward Felipe Santana caused panic in the visitors defence and the ball broke to Marco Reus for a simple finish.

Incredibly, a minute later and the home side scored the winning goal. Julian Schieber mis-connected with an effort from a few yards out, only for Santana to poke home from close-range. Replays showed that the Brazilian defender was offside when he scored.

Real Madrid lost 3-2 at Galatasaray, but qualify for the last four courtesy of their 3-0 win in the first leg quarter-final clash at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid opened the scoring via Cristiano Ronaldo, before late goals from Wesley Sneijder, Emmanuel Eboue and Didier Drogba put Los Blancos 3-1 up on the night.

Real full-back Alvaro Arbeloa was dismissed on 90 minutes for two bookable offences. Ronaldo added his second in stoppage-time to send the Spanish side through in a slightly more positive mood.
