Tomorrow Serie A will start the 31^ round with Juventus-Pescara, a match that could consolidate the position of Juventus for the victory of Scudetto, but also the relegation in Serie B for Pescara. Juventus, in fact, is without any doubt superior to Pescara, that during their last meeting has been defeated 1-6.
Bologna-Torino will be an equilibrate match; both the teams do not risk to be relegated in the second division and have shown organization and good performances in the last rounds.
Fiorentina-AC Milan is the turning point for the qualification in Champions League. Currently AC Milan has 57 points and Fiorentina 51. It could be a complex match for both the parts: AC Milan is passing through an excellent period, but Fiorentina is well-organized and remembers the 1-3 in San Siro, when AC Milan was in crisis.
Catania-Cagliari has to be won from both the teams. Catania in fact wants the 3 points to approach the Europe zone, while Cagliari wants to continue its series of victories to maintain a good position in Serie A.
Sampdoria-Palermo could mean the definitive relegation of Palermo in Serie B. Sampdoria will almost for sure remain in Serie A, as visible in the last results, but it will meet a motivated Palermo, that won 2-0 against Roma, during the 30^ round.
Siena-Parma could help Siena to leave the bottom part of the league table, while Parma is already sure of his permanence in Serie A, also next year. Siena has numerous hopes in this match, because Genoa has only 1 point more.
Udinese-Chievo is a match without importance for the Europe zone, but also for the bottom part of the league table becaus the two teams are perfectly in the middle of the league table, even if a positive result is always the aim.
Inter Milan-Atalanta will be a difficult match for Stramaccioni’s team, that has lost the matches against Bologna and Juventus and it is tired due to the midweek match against Sampdoria. Atalanta will use all its concentration and possibilities to increase the advantage from Genoa.
Napoli-Genoa should be an easy match, due to a rediscovered Cavani and due to a tired Genoa, that has to win to remain in Serie A. The victory of Napoli will confirm the second position for Mazzarri’s team.
Roma-Lazio is planned on Monday. The last victory of Roma arrived in March 2011, and the following meetings between the two teams have always been won by Lazio. This one could be the occasion for Roma to change the situation.
