Italy international, Antonio Di Natale, has revealed that AC Milan contacted him this summer to join the Italian giants. He immediately rejected the offer and affirmed his intentions by stating that he would also reject a move to Spanish giants, Real Madrid. Di Natale also confirmed that his intention is to end his career at Udinese and to score many goals for the team he loves. This news has been reported on Udinese’s official website. This is the second time Di Natale rejected a move to a greater side to stay at Udinese as he had rejected a move to Juventus two years ago.
It would be interesting to know if AC Milan approached Di Natale before deciding to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic or afterwards. Such news will definitely not make AC Milan supporters happy as they were hoping that the team officials were looking to build a young side since the current squad is an ageing one.
