Confederations Cup is ending this week-end. The results of the semifinals have seen Brazil and SLeonardo Bonuccipain victorious and qualified for the final match.

BRAZIL vs URUGUAY

Compared to the previous matches, Brazil played a difficult match. Uruguay managed to create difficulties to the host team, that gained the victory at 41′ of the second half. The first occasion of the match has been a penalty assigned to Uruguay, but not realized by Forlan. Before the end of the first half, Brazil found the advantage, thanks to Fred. The second half showed a magnificent Uruguay, and at 10′ Cavani gained the draw. Unfortunately for Uruguay, Paulinho scored the decisive goal 4 minutes before the end of the match. Now Brazil will play the final, while Uruguay will play against the loser of Spain-Italy.

SPAIN vs ITALY

Italy played this match, remembering the defeat of last year, during the European Cup final in Kiev. Moreover, Prandelli’s team played without his decisive player: Balotelli, returned in Italy due to an injury. Despite this absence and the forecasts, the match finished 0-0 and Spain played a disappointing match, while Italy showed all his possibility and a strong motivation. The situation remained 0-0 also after the extra time. The result has been decided by a final series of penalties. The players designated to shoot the penalties for Italy: Candreva, Aquilani, De Rossi, Giovinco, Pirlo, Montolivo and Bonucci, while for Spain: Iniesta, Xavi, Ramos, Piquè, Mata, Busquets and Jesus Navas. Bonucci and Jesus Navas have been the decisive players: Bonucci failed in realizing his penalty, followed by the goal of Jesus Navas. 7-6 the final results and Spain in final against Brazil.
