The Argentinian has impressed in Paris since joining PSG from Italian club Palermo, but would cost Tottenham in the region of £40million, should they pursue their interest.

According to the Daily Mirror, Fulham are interested in signing Aston Villa’s out-of-favour England international Darren Bent. The 29-year-old struggled for first team football last season, as Christian Benteke was preferred as Villa’s lone frontman.

The Sun are reporting that European champions Bayern Munich are set to bid £40million for Chelsea defender David Luiz. The Brazilian star has also been linked with a £25million move to Catalan giants Barcelona.

The Daily Express have reported that Tottenham have triggered the £25.8million buy-out clause in Roberto Soldado’s contract. His club Valencia have stated that they will only sell for his buy-out clause.

Tottenham may need Soldado to replace striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is being heavily linked with a move to Turkish side Besiktas. Besiktas president Fikret Orman has even stated that the deal is close and the deal-breaker is if the Turkish club are allowed back into European competition next season.

Premier League newcomers Cardiff City could be about to make a move to bring former-midfielder Joe Ledley back from Celtic. A fee of around £3million has been mooted, as Ledley is in the final year of contract at Celtic Park.

Any deal for Ledley could rely on whether the Bluebirds capture Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue, after the Welsh side agreed a fee of around £10million for Capoue.

Napoli tries to overpass Fiorentina to get Gomez https://footballcosmos.com/napoli-tries-to-overpass-fiorentina-to-get-gomez-4482/ https://footballcosmos.com/napoli-tries-to-overpass-fiorentina-to-get-gomez-4482/#respond Sat, 06 Jul 2013 12:58:50 +0000 http://footballcosmos.com/?p=4482 Napoli has found an agreement with PSG for Cavani’s transfer. This permits Napoli to earn 64 million euros, an amount tMario Gomezhat De Laurentiis wants to invest to get important players. It lacks the agreement between PSG and the player himself, but Leonardo in the following days will solve this detail.

64 million euros permit De Laurentiis to think about top players for his Napoli and, considered the departure of the Uruguayan striker, an excellent substitute is the first aim. This new objective seems to be Mario Gomez, Bayern Munich player that wants to change team due to his relegation of the bench in several situations during last season. The problem is that the German player had already found an agreement with Fiorentina, that has difficulties in negotiating with Bayern Munich. At this point, Napoli, with much more money available, could overpass Fiorentina and get the striker.

Gomez is considerably appreciated by Rafa Benitez that has identified him as his first choice. Other interesting alternatives are Edin Dzeko and Leandro Damiao, even if Benitez is sure that Gomez is the best choice possible at this moment. Bayern Munich asks 20 million euros for his striker, an amount easily reachable by Napoli.

Napoli indeed is going to make an excellent transfer market, finding at first the substitute of El Matador, and than investing money in a goalkeeper, other important aspect for the team. Julio Cesar could be a perfect solution for Napoli, due to his previous long experience in Serie A.

Cavani near to PSG, Ibra to Napoli https://footballcosmos.com/cavani-near-to-psg-ibra-to-napoli-4463/ https://footballcosmos.com/cavani-near-to-psg-ibra-to-napoli-4463/#respond Fri, 05 Jul 2013 09:38:28 +0000 http://footballcosmos.com/?p=4463 Edinson Cavani is always nearer to PSG, one of the only club able to pay an high amount to get him. Leonardo, manager of the FrenZlatan Ibrahimovicch club, is ready to make an offering of 60 million euros, plus a bonus of 10 million. The total amount that will arrive in Napoli will overpass the 70 million euros, covering the cost established by the president De Laurentiis and permitting him to pay a part to Palermo, team in which Cavani started his experience.

PSG seems remained the only club interested in Cavani: Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have abandoned Cavani as objective, while Real Madrid has decided to focus on Suarez as new aim. The Uruguayan player will probably accept this option, that for him means 8 million euros per season and a contract of 5 years.

De Laurentiis is already thinking about the substitute of Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic represents his first objective. The Swedish striker does not want to remain in Paris and wants to return in Serie A. This aspect, together with Ibrahimovic’s availability to see reduced his wage, makes this operation possible. The arrival in Napoli of the striker is seen in a positive way: all the Italian clubs with him have won Scudetto and have performed in an excellent way also in Champions League. The new and competitive Napoli of Rafa Benitez needs an element like him.

However, Napoli has also other alternatives: Dzeko, Jovetic, Osvaldo and Damiao. All these four are good option, but none is attractive as the return in Italy of Ibrahimovic.

Possible exchange Cavani-Ibrahimovic https://footballcosmos.com/possible-exchange-cavani-ibrahimovic-4449/ https://footballcosmos.com/possible-exchange-cavani-ibrahimovic-4449/#respond Thu, 04 Jul 2013 09:46:05 +0000 http://footballcosmos.com/?p=4449 PSG is ready to make a shock offering to Napoli to get Cavani: 4o million euros plus Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish plaEdinson Cavani & Zlatan Ibrahimovicyer indeed does not want to remain in Paris and could decide to see his wage reduced at around 7 million euros per season to return in Italy. This amount will be acceptable by the president of Napoli De Laurentiis, that in case of Cavani’s departure wants another top striker.

PSG and Napoli have good relationships, detail that could increase the possibilities to see this agreement concluded. Furthermore, the French club seems the only one that has enough money to get Cavani, despite this destination does not represent the dream of the Uruguayan player.

Chelsea indeed has made a recent offering of 58 million euros and will offer Cavani 8 million euros per season. London will be the favourite destination for Cavani and his attorney is working to find an agreement with Mourinho’s team. However, for now PSG has made the best offering for Napoli, even if Cavani does not like this option, because it seems that PSG wants him to substitute Ibrahimovic and not because the club appreciates him.

Till now Cavani has been called for the meeting of July between Napoli players. The exchange Cavani-Ibrahimovic seems convenient to Napoli, that will evaluate this alternative, despite the 40 million euros.

The Argentinian defender is rated in the £17million bracket. The former-Real Madrid ace could become Moyes first major signing at Old Trafford.

United’s arch-rivals Manchester City could also be set to raid the Portuguese giants with a move for striker Oscar Cardozo. The £15million rated Paraguayan striker is also interesting aforementioned Premier League new boys Cardiff.

Reports from Croatia suggest that Tottenham have agreed a £15million fee with Dinamo Zagreb for highly-rated young pair Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilovic. The 17-year-old pair are regarded as two of the top up-and-coming youngsters in their age group and Manchester City have previously held an interest in the pair.

Carlo Ancelotti named as next Real Madrid boss https://footballcosmos.com/carlo-ancelotti-named-as-next-real-madrid-boss-4300/ https://footballcosmos.com/carlo-ancelotti-named-as-next-real-madrid-boss-4300/#respond Wed, 26 Jun 2013 07:53:58 +0000 http://footballcosmos.com/?p=4300 Carlo ancelotti is the new Real Madrid bossSpanish giants Real Madrid have appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new boss on a three-year-contract.

The former-PSG boss had been the favourite to succeed Jose Mourinho

at the Bernabeu, since the Portuguese boss was linked with a return to Chelsea and the move has now been rubber-stamped.

PSG have replaced Ancelotti with former-French national team boss Laurent Blanc, who has a two-year deal at the Parc de Princes.

Success

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the most successful bosses the European game has seen in recent history. The Italian has won league titles in Italy with AC Milan, at Chelsea in England and last season helped PSG to their first French league title in nearly two decades.

Affinity

Ancelotti, rather like Real Madrid has a big affinity with the European Cup. The 54-year-old has won Europe’s elite competition as a player and coach with Italian goliaths AC Milan. There is a great passion for the Champions League in the Spanish capital that has almost become an obsession.

Ancelotti understands the passion for the Champions League, considering his association with the prestigious tournament. He will be looking to collect Real’s tenth European Cup in his tenure in the Spanish capital.

Challenge

Ancelotti faces a major challenge at Real, after Los Blancos finished 15 points behind bitter-rivals Barcelona in La Liga last season. The Spanish champions should be even stronger next season, after the Catalans beat Real to the signing of Brazilian superstar Neymar from Santos.

Time

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the few bosses in football today that is capable of taking on such a big task as managing Real Madrid. Given the time I am sure he can help Real Madrid get closer to rivals Barcelona.

However, Los Blancos bosses are not usually given that much time to prove themselves, so the Italian will have to make a difference very quickly or he could be following in the footsteps of a host of big names bosses that have been shown the door by Real.

Will Carlo Ancelotti be a success in the Spanish capital?

Lazio: Hernanes and his Uncertain Future https://footballcosmos.com/lazio-hernanes-and-his-uncertain-future-4118/ https://footballcosmos.com/lazio-hernanes-and-his-uncertain-future-4118/#respond Sun, 16 Jun 2013 11:09:09 +0000 http://footballcosmos.com/?p=4118 The Brazilian midfielder Hernanes, after an excellent season, seems ready to leave Lazio. HernanesWhile at the beginning of the transfer market his permanence has been confirmed in several occasions, currently there are rumors about his future far away from Rome.

In the first phase, AC Milan and Juventus expressed their appreciation for the midfielder, without starting real operations with Lazio, probably due to his high cost and to his consideration as unmarketable player. At this point, Real Madrid and PSG have shown in a clear way their interest for Hernanes, that could decide to go to play in one of these, thanks to the possibility to be noticed at international level. Lazio indeed will participate to the preliminary phase of Europa League and it is since a long time that the participation in Champions League remains every season the aim not reached.

PSG seems ready to offer 30 million euros to Lazio to get Hernanes, while Real Madrid does not have a real offering yet. The president of Lazio, Lotito, has underlined that the project of the future Lazio is centered around Hernanes and for this reason the player won’t leave the Club. On the other side, some managers are working in Brazil to look for a substitute: Felipe Anderson appears the new Hernanes, thanks to his quality and his physical resistance. 10 million euros have already been offered to Santos and it is probable that before the end of next week Felipe Anderson will be a Lazio player.
