Italy Serie A — 28 February 2013

Serie A Clubs, due to the economic crisis, are showing a renovated interest in young talents, all born after 1990.

Stephan El Shaarawy (1992), The “Pharaoh”, name derived frStephan El Shaarawyom his Egyptian origins, has guided AC Milan attack for the first part of this season, scoring 16 goals till now (second top scorer after Cavani) and obtaining a call by Mr Prandelli to play in the Italian national team.

M’baye Niang (1994), arrived from France to AC Milan, at the beginning he was known just for driving without the licence.  Differently, in the last matches the young player has demonstrated physical resistance and speed, becoming a regular forward.

Lorenzo Insigne (1991), after his last beautiful season in Pescara, trained by Mr Zeman, where he won a price as the best young player in Serie B, Insigne arrived in Napoli to play regularly, after Lavezzi went to play for PSG.

Mauro Icardi (1993), the Argentinian player has grown during this season in Sampdoria, scoring fundamental goals for his team, such as a double against Juventus.

Mattia De Sciglio (1992), the young right back, differently from his teammate El Shaarawy, has a calm nature. He started as a substitute of Ignazio Abate, but now De Sciglio is irreplaceable for Mr Allegri.

Paul Pogba (1993), the French midfielder of Juventus, compared to Patrik Vieira, is evaluated as one of the best in his role, and considered by Antonio Conte the vice-Pirlo.

Mattia Perin (1992), currently goalkeeper in Pescara, despite his young age he has saved his team in several situations, drawing the attention on himself.

Marquinhos (1994), the Brazilian center-back of Roma, appreciated for his speed and elegance, earned the opportunity of becoming a regular defender in his team.

Erik Lamela (1992), “Athlete of the Year” in 2012, the Argentinian offensive midfielder has been compared to Kakà for his physical features and his playing style. He is a guarantee for Roma.

Luis Muriel (1991), after an excellent performance in Lecce last year, the Colombian striker is now having the opportunity to show his talent in Udinese.
