Italy Serie A — 17 May 2013

During the meeting on last Wednesday, Antonio Conte has been confirmed as coach of Juventus Aleksander Kolarovalso for next season. Both the president Agnelli and Conte agreed about the need of reinforcing the team to become more competitive on the European stage. In fact, Scudetto won’t be anymore the objective of next season, substituted by the victory of Champions League.

Antonio Conte asked some players to gain this objective, because he wants to have the possibility to change his strategies having available players with different features.

The first candidate for the future Juventus is Aleksander Kolarov, currently defender of Manchester City and of the Serbian national team. The player could be employed not only in the defense phase, but also as a midfielder due to his flexibility. He may be the perfect alternative of Asamoah, that has played an excellent season, but that due to his feature, he cannot be lined up as defender. Kolarov could be a double investment for Juventus.

Alternative could be Adriano, Barcelona player. As Kolarov, the Brazilian could be lined up both in the defense and in the midfield. Barcelona could decide to transfer the player due to his age and the policy of renewal that the Club is applying in this last season.

The third option is Senad Lulic, midfielder of Lazio. His favorite position is as midfielder, but in Lazio he has been employed in several situations as back. This agreement could be reached thanks to the positive relations between Lazio and Juventus, even if the cost results high for this player.

The transfer market will give Conte one of this players to elaborate new strategies to transform Juventus in an international power, as was in the past.
