Serie A — 30 March 2013

The match has just started, when at 3′  of the first half, Juventus scored its first goal, thanks to Fabio Quagliarella. A goal scoreFabio Quagliarellad from outside, that left Handanovic static as all the supporters of Inter Milan present in San Siro. Juventus appeared immediately a solid team, differently from Stramaccioni’s team, that seemed confused, even if, after the goal, Inter Milan tried to concentrate, and almost reached the draw with Palacio at 6′ minute.

However, the advantage of Juventus has been doubled by Alessandro Matri, that at 15′ made an excellent goal, thanks to Quagliarella’s assist. After this event, the match became interesting and intense, and above all full of doubts: 3 penalties could have been assigned to Inter Milan, causing protests and polemics, especially of Mr Stramaccioni who affirmed that Inter Milan is the only team that has a middle-high position in the league table, without referees’ helps. Also Juventus could have seen assigned a penalty, due to a mistake made by Handanovic in detriment of Vidal.

Inter Milan, despite the disadvantage, did not show an aggressive game, but tried to change the team, inserting Guarin to substitute an insufficient Alvarez. After this substitution, Inter Milan had two possibilities, but Buffon saved the result in both the cases. At 20′ of the second half, Rodrigo Palacio scored the goal for Inter Milan, not enough to change Stramaccioni’s team destiny. The match continued with a nervous Inter Milan, as visible with the expulsion of Cambiasso due to an hard foul to the detriment of  Giovinco.

1-2 is the conclusion of this match: Inter Milan is going far away from the Europe zone, while Juventus is always more closer to Scudetto.
