FC Twente central defender, Douglas Franco Texeiera, is very much on demand especially in Germany where he is wanted by Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart. In recent years there have been many rumours that Douglas might leave FC Twente to join a greater team. It seems that a move may finally materialize this summer. Douglas kick started his professional career in his homeland, Brazil, at Joinville. In 2007, at the young age of 19 he moved to Dutch side FC Twente where he established himself as a key player and a fan favourite. Douglas is currently valued at 9 million euro.
