Jordan RhodesBlackburn Rover manager, Steve Kean, has admitted that his side made an official bid for Huddersfield star striker Jordan Rhodes. Rhodes is attracting the interest of many clubs thanks to his goal scoring exploits. Only last season he managed 36 goals in official matches which is impressive even for a League One player. London side Fulham already had a bid rejected for Rhodes but Blackburn are hoping to secure the services of the prolific striker.

Rhodes started his professional career at Ipswich town but after loaning him three times he move on to Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee. Since joining he hit the back of the net 71 times in only 122 games. Such form earned him international football first at U21 level, then at senior level always for Scotland. Although Rhodes was born in Oldham England he opted for Scotland as he feels Scottish. At U21 level he managed 8 goals in 8 games whilst at senior level he just made his debut without finding the back of the net.
