Transfer News — 14 March 2012

Hernanes joined Lazio in 2010 after plying his trade in Brazil. At Lazio, he confirmed his talent as he has played some great football with many pundits attributing the great seasons Lazio are having to his quality. Obviously such performances have grabbed the interest of various top sides with Juventus topping the list last summer. Now it seems that German side, Bayern Munich, are also interested in the Brazilian playmaker. In recent weeks Bayern have intensified their interest for Hernanes as they are ready to offload Dutch winger, Robben, next summer. It seems that the future of Hernanes depends on Lazio’s final position in the league. Should Lazio not qualify to next year’s Champions League it would almost certainly mean that Hernanes leaves the Italian side. Hernanes is currently valued around 15 million euros.
